Our client is a prominent New York Personal Injury Law Firm based in Mineola (Long Island). They seek a Senior Paralegal to report directly to its partners and work full-time in the office.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be Bi-Lingual and speak English and Spanish
  • 5 years’ experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice
  • Ability to talk to clients.
  • Preparing and filing all pleadings/complaints, bills of particulars, retrieval of medical records, Medicare and Medicaid final reporting, and various facets of the Plaintiff’s personal injury litigation.
  • Scheduling as needed
  • Drafting and responding to discovery
  • Assisting with mediation and deposition
  • Trial Preparation
  • Client Contact/intakes

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience as a personal injury paralegal reporting to a partner
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask many cases at one time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge in Time Matters, e-filing, and all Microsoft suite of products.
