Position: Manufacturer Rep – Auto Industry

Location: Atlanta or Detroit  (Flexible Remote)

Early stage nternational company with solution to increase safety and reduce driver’s distractions caused by cell phones in the mobility industry is looking for a Manufacturer Rep to open up the U.S. market.

The company’s solution is one that can prevent drivers accessing distraction apps on their cell phones while driving.

Individual will sell to the auto and related industries with their main focus on Fleets / After Market. (MUST have some experience in these areas)

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to get into the mobility space. 

The right individual can be located anywhere in the U.S., as long as they are willing to travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

–        Identify and hunt for opportunities with companies having fleet operation (auto, trucks, buses)

–        Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at potential customer accounts in the mobility market

–        Work with potential customers to help them realize the full value of the company’s solution

–        Develop a deep knowledge of the company’s solution, including features, benefits, and use cases.

–        Assist in the identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards achieving these goals.

–        Work to connect with Pre-Market OEM mobility segment, to identify opportunities to integrate technology in vehicle assembly lines.

–        Maintain CRM records and provide reports to management on a regular basis

REQUIREMENTS

–        Bachelor’s degree, in an engineering / technical discipline

–        Have some experience selling into the mobility market

–        Strong understanding of mobile technology

–        Able to hunt for new opportunities and get meeting in these areas.

Note: This position will initially be structured as a contract 1099 role
