ASSOCIATE – HEALTHCARE LITIGATION

Our client, a top-tier AmLaw 100, national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated mid-level Associate to join their national Healthcare Litigation practice in the Charleston office.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in South Carolina required.
- 4+ years of experience in health care litigation or complex litigation.
- Substantial writing experience, with the ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- Strong experience in litigation, including drafting motions and briefs, and preparing depositions.
- Preference for candidates with federal litigation experience.
- Having a background in healthcare reimbursement compliance, defense, and litigation, especially in government and private payer disputes, is highly advantageous.
- Superb research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively navigate complex subject matter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage health care litigation matters, including drafting motions, briefs, and preparing for depositions.
- Engage in federal litigation and health care reimbursement disputes.
- Provide strategic counsel on complex litigation matters and deliver strong final work products with little supervision.
- Work collaboratively with the national health care litigation team, contributing to the growth of the practice.
- Navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.
