We are actively recruiting a fellowship-trained Gastroenterologist to join a well-established division of board-certified specialists and nurse practitioners in Fall River, Massachusetts. The outpatient practice serves a large and diverse patient base, offering advanced expertise in the management of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary diseases. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly respected medical team in a thriving multispecialty group.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal diseases, including those of the intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary systems.

  • Perform routine endoscopic procedures in a busy office-based endoscopy suite.

  • Manage complex or higher-risk procedures at a local hospital’s outpatient suite.

  • Consult with inpatients admitted to the hospitalist service.

  • Collaborate with a team of nurse practitioners, hospitalists, nursing staff, anesthesia, and pathology professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

  • Utilize onsite outpatient laboratory and imaging services to facilitate efficient patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.

  • Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology.

  • Proficiency in managing a broad range of gastrointestinal diseases.

  • Expertise in performing routine endoscopic procedures is required.

  • Additional technical skills (e.g., ERCP) or areas of specific interest are highly valued.

  • Ability to manage both outpatient consultations and hospital consults.

  • Collaborative spirit with a team-oriented mindset.

  • Strong knowledge of imaging, interventional services, and surgical procedures as they relate to gastrointestinal care.
