Our client is an American company that provides industrial processing solutions to design, build, and commission bulk-processing systems.
The Director of Process Engineering leads a group of Process Engineers, Regional Sales Engineers and Technicians. This role reports to the President.
Responsibilities:
- Learn the intricacies of our pneumatic conveying system design software and become the “go-to” resource for all things equipment sizing and design related.
- Consult with Regional Sales Engineers, Project Managers, Process Engineers, and Field Service Technicians to develop process solutions.
- Contribute to recruitment activities to develop a team of Process Engineers.
- Leading the team of Process Engineers through management and mentorship.
- Design systems while training our Process Engineers and Sales Engineers to do so themselves.
- Grow company application knowledge through further education of bulk material processing techniques and providing direct interaction with our team.
- Review the work of our Regional Sales Engineers and Process Engineers to ensure quality of the product.
- Maintain relationships with our suppliers’ design engineers.
- Grow company offering to include layout/design and installation services whenever possible.
- Specify system design and prepare documentation for handoff to sales for quoting.
- Understand the importance of time management and work to develop solutions quickly.
Qualifications:
- BS Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
- Extensive experience in designing pneumatic conveying systems and dust collection systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of bulk material processing.
- Solid grasp of dry bulk process design, system integration, and project execution.
