TRAUMA PROGRAM MANAGER 

MODESTO, CA

$165,000- 205,000+ Full Benefits + Bonus + Paid Relocation + 

Reporting to the Associate Administrator, the Trauma Program Manager assists in the promotion of optimal care.  Demonstrates professional competency in the nursing process, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates the care of critically injured patients. Responsibilities of this role include clinical practice, record maintenance of the trauma registry and it’s Quality Improvement reports, educational programs for all personnel involved in care of the trauma patient (both prevention and all phases of care) and monitors patient’s clinical progress during hospitalization. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the trauma services, actively participates in the staffing, budgetary, planning, leadership and quality improvement of the department. 

Minimum Education: BSN preferred

Minimum Experience/Skills: Three to five years Emergency or Critical Care experience preferred

License/Certificates/Credentials: 

  • Current: California RN license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification 
  • ENPC within 6 months of hire 
  • TNCC within 6 months of hire (Instructor preferred).

Vision Requirements: Ability to adjust vision sufficiently to perform position accountabilities

Working Conditions:

  • Emergency and crisis situations
  • Subject to irregular hours
  • Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries
  • Occasional exposure to radiation hazards, radioactive substances, and biohazards
