Job Summary: The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions. This position will be responsible for a variety of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Address employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution.

Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management programs.
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting goals.

Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Training and Development:
- Coordinate and facilitate training programs for employees.
- Identify training needs and develop training materials.

Benefits Administration:
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Provide information and support to employees regarding benefits.

HR Projects:
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to support company goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
