Our client, a top AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Senior Associate to join their rapidly growing Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice group in New York.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in New York is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in emerging companies and venture capital work, preferably at a comparable law firm.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in math and Excel.
  • Ability to manage internal and external client relationships effectively.
  • Stellar academic credentials and strong references.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent innovative companies and their founders throughout their lifecycle, including business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Advise venture capital funds and other investors in high-value transactions.
  • Work closely with a collaborative team of experienced practitioners on sophisticated, national-level matters.

This role offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary range from $365,000 to $420,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
