We are a leading global manufacturer of CNC turning and milling machines. We build a range of CNC machines for leading manufacturers in the Aerospace, Automotive, Defense, Energy, Medical, Electronics, Agriculture and Semi-conductor industries.

We are currently searching for a Regional Sales Manager, Northeast Region, responsible for all matters relating to sales for products in a defined sales territory. Monitor existing and potential markets, competition, products, trends. Evaluate these conditions regarding impact on Company business and recommend programs and products to maximize positive business results.

This is what you will do:

  • Travel with sales representatives to customer facilities, work with local sales engineers on active projects, and develop new opportunities.
  • Work closely with both individual sales representatives and the distributor’s sales management to drive monthly and annual performance to sales objectives and to discuss what works well, what doesn’t, and steps for improving cooperation and performance.
  • Participate in sales meetings, conduct product and sales training, attend customer demonstrations, and support local trade shows and seminars.
  • Utilize an extensive personal knowledge of machine tools to convey the advantages of our technology to distributor salespeople and customers.
  • Initiate activity and follow-up by
  • requesting technical information
  • reviewing special pricing or terms
  • cutting thru red tape on difficult service issues that hinder the ability to win new orders.
  • Gather market intelligence by providing information about market conditions and competitive dynamics in the region (auto, medical, aerospace industries, etc.).
  • Recommend sales strategies and programs which will maximize sales impact and grow market share.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in, Mechanical Engineering, Mfg. Engineering Technology, Manufacturing or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years related experience.

· Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

· Strong understanding of Machine Tool applications

· Clear Understanding of customer needs

· Fluent English

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Detailed oriented.
