What they are looking for:
•Bachelors or PharmD required.
•At least 3 years of acute care/hospital leadership experience.
•Able to obtain NV Pharmacist License within 3 months of hire.
Hours and compensation potential:
•The position is full time.
•The range is between $145K-$175K depending on experience.
•The facility offers a full benefit package and will discuss a relocation/sign-on bonus.
What you’ll be doing:
•The Director of Pharmacy will be leading a team of professionals in a place where people want to work together to deliver compassionate, high quality patient care to help create an excellent workplace.
•Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
•Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
•Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
•Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
•Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
•Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
•Only after NV licensure is obtained (designee holds the following responsibilities until Director obtains licensure) Acts as the “Managing Pharmacist”, who is responsible for compliance by the pharmacy and its personnel with all state and federal laws and regulations relating to the operation of the pharmacy and the practice of pharmacy.
