We are excited to invite a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will help uphold and enhance our quality standards, ensuring that our products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations. Your expertise in blueprint reading and quality documentation processes will be essential in maintaining our quality management system and contributing to our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed inspection masters for each job, including ballooning blueprints and generating Inspection Reports, First Piece Reports, and Shipping data sheets for every part.
  • Review customer purchase orders before shipment to verify full compliance with specified requirements.
  • Prepare and generate Certificates of Conformance, ensuring quality documentation is accurately processed and distributed with shipments. Maintain copies for internal records.
  • Ensure the timely closing and inspection of file folders, keeping meticulous records for efficient tracking and compliance.
  • Analyze job packets to identify any quality-impacting changes, and promptly notify the QA Manager of necessary updates.
  • Provide additional support and perform duties as assigned to facilitate the smooth operation of the quality department.

Requirements:

  • Experience in ballooning drawings and the ability to interpret and analyze blueprints with precision.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and requirements.
  • Knowledge of raw materials and manufacturing processes to make informed decisions on quality standards.
  • Familiarity with modern office methods, filing systems, and office equipment for effective record-keeping.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under supervision, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with both internal teams and customers.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or trade school education.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a quality-related role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience interpreting drawings and specifications to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • At least 3 years of experience interpreting Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts to support data-driven decision-making.
